Samsung Galaxy S20-series announced in India: Price, pre-orders, and offers
Samsung's newest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra, are now available for pre-ordering in India. The S20 range comes at a starting price of Rs. 66,999, and can be pre-ordered via the company's official online store. Notably, the company has also revealed a bunch of attractive pre-booking and operator offers for all the interested buyers. Here are the finer details.
First, a look at the India pricing of S20 models
According to the pre-order listing, only the base-end 128GB storage models are available for pre-booking. As for prices, the standard S20 is available at Rs. 66,999 while the S20+ and the S20 Ultra models are listed at Rs. 73,999 and Rs. 92,999, respectively. We expect Samsung to reveal the prices of other storage variants when the S20 range goes on sale next month.
The company has announced attractive pre-booking offers
If you pre-order the regular S20, you will be able to buy the new Galaxy Buds+ at Rs. 2,999. Similarly, with S20+ or S20 Ultra, you can get Galaxy Buds+ at just Rs. 1,999. The company is also offering a Samsung Care+ service at a discounted price of Rs. 1,999. The service provides 1-year protection against accidental and liquid damage with worldwide cover.
Samsung has also revealed some operator-related offers
Samsung has partnered with Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone to offer double data benefits to all the users who pre-book a Galaxy S20, S20+ or S20 Ultra. Jio is offering a Rs. 4,999 annual plan which offers a total of 1,400GB (spread over two years) and unlimited on-net voice calls for one year. Airtel and Vodafone are also offering double data benefit on select plans.
Meanwhile, here's recalling the Galaxy S20 series
The S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra come with 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch displays, respectively, with IP68-rated water resistance, ultra-fine bezels, and slightly curved screen edges. All models bear a new Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which offers a QHD (1440x3200 pixels) resolution, HDR10 support, and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. For secure biometric authentication, the handsets come with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The high-end S20 Ultra features a 108MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 48MP telephoto shooter with 100x Super Resolution zoom, and a DepthVision sensor. On the front, it has a 40MP camera. The S20 and S20 Plus get a similar setup but with 12MP main sensor, and 64MP telephoto lens (S20 doesn't have DepthVision sensor). For selfies, these two models have a 10MP camera.

The S20 series is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 chipset (depending on the region), paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of built-in storage. The S20 Ultra, S20 Plus, and S20 house 5,000mAh, 4,500mAh, and 4,000mAh batteries, respectively, and support Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, reverse wireless charging, as well as up to 45W wired fast charging.
