#LeakPeek: Galaxy S11e to get S11-like design and triple-lens camera
Just hours after leaking the first look of the upcoming Galaxy S11, @OnLeaks has partnered with @Pricebaba to reveal all about Galaxy S11e, the sequel to the Galaxy S10e. The upcoming low-cost flagship looks largely similar to its premium sibling with a punch-hole design, curved screen edges, metal-glass body, and a new triple-lens rear camera unit. Here's our roundup.
Like S10, Galaxy S11e will also feature a punch-hole design
As per the renders, the S11e will retain the same center-aligned punch-hole design that we shall see on the Galaxy S11. Moreover, it will have the same curved screen edges and slim bezels as the S11 but with a smaller 6.2-or-6.4-inch screen. On the rear, the S11e will have a curved glass body that will house an S11-like camera unit but with three lenses.
The phone will also feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor
Going by the renders, the S11e won't get a side-mounted physical fingerprint reader like its predecessor. Instead, it will come with an in-screen fingerprint reader for secure unlocking of the device. However, it remains unclear if it'll be an ultrasonic sensor or an optical one.
Low-cost flagship to get a triple-lens rear camera
Further, it is evident from the renders that S11e will come with triple rear cameras that will be housed in a rectangular arrangement. Some reports suggest the low-cost model will miss out on the 108MP sensor of the S11, but it should offer a versatile setup with a standard sensor, ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto unit. It will also house a single selfie snapper.
Galaxy S11e will come in both 5G and LTE variants
According to tipster Evan Blass, the Galaxy S11e, like the S11, will be offered in both 5G and LTE variants. The low-cost model will also come with a Snapdragon 865/Exynos 990 chipset and run Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out of the box.
