Galaxy S10+ with Snapdragon 855 processor, Pie appears on Geekbench
What's the story
Samsung Galaxy S10+, set to launch alongside Galaxy S10 and S10 Lite on February 20, has been spotted on processor benchmarking site, Geekbench.
According to the listing, the upcoming flagship has a model number SM-G975U and will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, coupled with at least 6GB of RAM and Android Pie OS.

Firstly, what is Geekbench and Geekbench's scores?
Geekbench is a cross-platform processor benchmark platform which grades processors on their single-core and multi-core performances.
While calculating multi-core scores, Geekbench runs multiple streams of instructions simultaneously per core and reports an aggregate score.
With single-core scores, the same process is applied but on a single core.
Notably, the quicker a CPU completes the instructions, the higher is its Geekbench score.

According to the Geekbench listing, the S10+ will come with a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with at least 6GB RAM and Android Pie support.
Moreover, depending on the region, other variants may come with Exynos 9820 processor and possibly with higher RAM options.
In terms of scores, the S10+ scored 3,413 in single-core tests and 10,256 in multi-core performance.

According to several leaks and reports, the S10+ will sport a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with curved edges, QHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The flagship will also house an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor along with dual front and triple rear cameras.
Further, it will run on Android Pie-based One UI and pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for two-way wireless charging.

According to Gizmodo UK, the S10+ will come in 128GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options and they will retail at £899 (Rs. 81,580), £1,099 (Rs. 99,730), and £1,399 (Rs. 1,26,956), respectively.
Moreover, the publication claims that the S10-series, which includes S10+, S10, as well as S10 Lite, will be available for pre-orders right after the launch event and go on sale starting March 8.
