At the event, we expect Samsung to unveil Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e (S10 Lite) along with a redesigned Galaxy Watch and brand-new Galaxy Buds wireless headphones that also support wireless charging.
Galaxy S10 likely to launch in India on March 6
Separately, citing a company distributor, 91Mobiles recently claimed that Samsung would launch S10+, S10, and S10e in India on March 6, with sales are scheduled to start from March 15. The report also noted that S10 lineup will start at Rs. 50,000 for the base-end S10 Lite model whereas the premium S10 and S10+ will be priced at Rs. 65,000 and Rs. 75,000, respectively.
Top-end S10+ model will be priced under Rs. 1 lakh
Further, the 91Mobiles report highlighted that the "price difference between different variants of the same device in the series will be around Rs 4,000." This means, the top-end Galaxy S10+, which is tipped to come with 1TB storage option, will be priced under Rs. 1,00,000.
Meanwhile, here's what to expect from Galaxy S10 variants
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ variants will feature 6.11-inch and 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays with curved edges, QHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio, respectively. The S10 Lite will feature a flat 5.75-inch Infinity-O display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, QHD resolution, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In comparison, the premium S10 and S10+ models will pack an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Galaxy S10, S10+ will sport triple rear-camera
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ variants will sport a triple rear-camera setup - something we've been hearing for a while. However, up front, the larger model will sport a dual-camera layout housed in a pill-shaped display hole whereas the standard S10 will get a single selfie snapper. Further, the S10 Lite variant will pack a dual rear-camera setup and a single front camera.
All Galaxy S10 variants to get Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9820
All Galaxy S10 models will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 chipset (region dependent) and run Android Pie-based One UI.
