Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+: Everything to know
Samsung is all set to unveil its all-new super-sized, stylus equipped flagship smartphones, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+, on August 7. But, by now countless renders have already revealed all the design changes and details about the camera and internal upgrades. Meanwhile, news agency IANS has reiterated some of these key details. Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+: Design
According to leaks and renders, the Note 10-series will feature a center-aligned punch-hole display with curved edges, an IP68-certified metal-glass body, and gradient design on some variants. Further, the Plus model will house a vertically-mounted quad-lens camera setup whereas the standard model will offer a triple sensor module. The renders also confirm that the forthcoming handsets will lack a headphone jack and Bixby button.
Noe 10 series will feature QHD+ OLED screens
According to leaks, the Note 10+ will sport a 6.8-inch Dynamic OLED display while the standard Note 10 will feature a 6.3-inch screen. The displays will offer QHD+ resolution, HDR10+ support, and integrated ultrasonic fingerprint readers. Separately, the S Pen is touted to come with "Air Actions" that will allow you to navigate through the phone's UI without having to touch the display.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
Both the Note 10 flagships will offer a 12MP (f/1.5-2.4) main sensor, a 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 12MP (f/2.1) sensor lens with 2x optical zoom. On the Note 10+, this triple-lens camera setup will be joined by a ToF sensor. On the front, both models will offer a single 10MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper that will support dual pixel autofocus and HDR 10+.
Under the hood
The Note 10 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9825 chipset, depending on the region. These models are also tipped to come with upto 12GB of RAM and at least 256GB of storage in UFS 3.0 format. Under the hood, the Note 10+ is said to pack a 4,300mAh battery while the standard model may get a 3,500mAh battery.
Pricing and availability
Notably, Samsung will launch the Note 10 series on August 7 in New York. In India, the phones will go official on August 8 via Flipkart. And finally, if you are looking to buy these upcoming flagships, you should set aside 999 euros (Rs. 77,000) for the standard model and 1,149 euros (Rs. 90,000) for the Plus model.
