Everything to know about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9
Samsung is working to launch its second flagship of the year, the Galaxy Note 9. As the successor to last year's Note 8 phablet, the upcoming Samsung flagship many not impress many with its design, but was tipped to feature top-end specs. Now, according to the latest reports, Samsung will make some massive upgrades to its upcoming Galaxy Note 9. Here's everything to know.
Note 9 is expected to feature Samsung's biggest display
According to The Bell, a Korean publisher, Samsung will offer its biggest AMOLED display in the upcoming flagship. Galaxy Note 9 is likely to feature 6.4-inches screen - an increase from the last year's 6.3-inch screen on Galaxy Note 8. But while display may attract some eyeballs, the fact that Note 9 will not get many design changes is certainly a bummer.
Massive upgrades in terms of RAM, storage and battery
It is a no-brainer that Note 9 will feature this year's top-end chipset - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 - accompanied with significant upgrades in internals as well. In all likelihood, Galaxy Note 9 will come with upto 512GB of storage as against 256GB on the Note 8, a 4,000mAh battery and 8GB of RAM - all never-seen-before specs on a Samsung flagship.
In today's smartphone wars, camera is the only battlefield left
With the Galaxy S9+, Samsung had offered a dual-lens camera with dual-aperture technology - the first for a mass-market smartphone. However, the company had reused the Galaxy S8's front camera. And now, with Note 9, Samsung looks to change this. Reports suggest that Note 9 will sport a front camera with much larger pixels, capable of setting new benchmarks in low-light smartphone photography.
