Samsung launches Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition
To celebrate the release of the upcoming sci-fi movie, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition smartphone. The limited-edition model comes with a special Red and Black color scheme and a Star Wars-inspired custom theme. Apart from that, this commemorative handset remains the same as the standard Note 10+ handset. Here's all about it.
First, what's new in the Star Wars Special Edition?
The Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition comes bundled with a custom-designed case, a metal badge as a collector's item, a red-colored S Pen, and Galaxy Buds. Besides that, the handset gets a black scheme with red accents around the camera unit and a custom UI theme with Star Wars-inspired wallpapers, shutdown animations, icons, and ring tones.
A look at the smartphone
The special edition phone comes with an edge-to-edge screen with a small display cut-out at the top center. On the rear, it houses a quad camera module, along with Star Wars branding as well as a First Order logo. The IP68-rated handset features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ (1440x3040 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and an in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The quad rear cameras on the smartphone include a 12MP (f/1.5-2.4) main sensor, 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 12MP (f/2.1) telephoto lens, and another 3D ToF sensor. The main camera offers photography features like auto-HDR, stereo sound recording, and can record 4K videos at upto 60fps. Up front, it houses a 10MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper which also supports 4K video recording at 30fps.

Depending on the country, the Galaxy Note 10+ offers Exynos 9825 or Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with upto 12GB RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. It runs Android Pie-based One UI and packs a solid 4,300mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless fast-charging technology. Moreover, the phone offers all the latest connectivity options like dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Type-C port.
And, what about pricing and availability?
As for the pocket pinch, the Galaxy Note 10+ Star Wars Special Edition costs $1,299 (approximately Rs. 93,500). The handset will go on sale in United States starting December 13, followed by other international markets. However, the South Korean tech giant will not introduce the special edition Galaxy Note 10+ in India.
