Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could arrive in four models: Report
Galaxy Note 10, the next iteration of Samsung's flagship phablet, continues to be a hot topic for the rumor mill. So far, leaks and renders have suggested that the phone will look like the Galaxy S10 5G model and may come without any buttons. In the latest development, a new report claims that Galaxy Note 10 could arrive in upto four models. Here's more.
Samsung banking upon Galaxy S10's sales success
In February, Samsung launched the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+, and S10 5G flagship devices, sharing the same design and processor. However, these models are different in terms of display sizes, cameras, and other parameters. With this diverse line-up, Samsung managed to cater to wider audience needs, recording good early sales. Notably, with Note 10, the company is planning a similar segmentation strategy.
Here's what we know about the Galaxy Note 10 models
According to South Korea-based ETNews, Samsung is planning to launch two LTE and two 5G models of its Galaxy Note 10 flagship. The LTE variants will come in 6.28-inch and 6.75-inch display sizes along with a triple and quadruple camera setup on the back. Further, the 5G compatible models will feature display and camera specs similar to the LTE versions.
Under the hood
Internally, the Galaxy Note 10 should be similar to S10 flagships with a Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9820 processor, upto 12GB of RAM and upto 1TB of embedded storage. However, the storage format will most likely be UFS 3.0 which is present on Galaxy Fold but lacking on S10 flagships. Lastly, Note 10 should support two-way wireless charging and come with a built-in S Pen stylus.
Pricing and availability
Given Note 9 came in August, hence we can expect Samsung to launch Note 10 sometime around the same time this year as well. As for pricing, the flagship phablet should come at a starting price of $1,000 or roughly Rs. 70,000 in India.
