Samsung Galaxy M40 to launch in India on June 11
Expanding its portfolio of premium mid-range smartphones, Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy M40 in India. The South Korean tech giant has posted a teaser video, confirming that the phone will arrive in India on June 11. Notably, it will be Samsung's first smartphone in M-Series to be powered by a Snapdragon chipset instead of in-house Exynos processor. Here's more.

The official teaser confirms that the Samsung Galaxy M40 features a punch-hole design with thin bottom bezels, while the matte-finished polycarbonate back houses a triple rear camera setup with LED-flash and a fingerprint sensor. Also, the leaks suggest that the smartphone will flaunt a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution.

Going by the teaser, it is expected that Samsung Galaxy M40 will house a triple rear camera setup, while on the front there is a selfie snapper in a punch-hole setup. However, the sensor details are still unclear.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it will be backed by a massive 5,000mAh with fast-charging charging support via USB Type-C port. Lastly, the smartphone is likely to run on Android Pie-based One UI out-of-the-box.

In India, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is expected to be priced under Rs. 20,000 and will be available exclusively via Amazon. Further, it will lock horns with other mid-rangers like Vivo V15 Pro, OPPO F11 Pro, and Nokia 8.1.
