Samsung to launch Galaxy M40, Galaxy A10s in India soon
As the latest addition to its portfolio of budget and mid-range smartphones, Samsung is expected to introduce two new handsets in India. According to a report, the South Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy M40 and Galaxy A10s in the country sometime "soon". Interestingly, the report has also tipped some of the key specifications of these upcoming phones. Here are the details.
Here's everything we know about Samsung Galaxy M40
According to the report, the Galaxy M40 will sport a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display, presumably with full-HD+ resolution. Further, the phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Notably, the report also suggests that the Galaxy M40 will arrive in India at under Rs. 25,000.
Galaxy M40 might offer a triple or quad rear-camera setup
Given the Galaxy M40 is coming as a more souped-up variant of the Galaxy M30, we expect it to feature a triple-lens or possibly a quad camera setup on the back. However, we don't have any credible information available as of now.
Galaxy A10s: What we know so far
The Galaxy A10s is said to arrive as another variant of the recently launched Galaxy A10. Hence, we expect to see an HD+ display, polycarbonate body, and entry-level specifications. The phone was also spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie-based One UI support. In India, it is expected to launch under Rs. 10,000.
Galaxy A10s might offer single rear and front cameras
While there is hardly any information available for the Galaxy A10s, we expect the phone to come with a single rear and front camera - like the Galaxy A10. To recall, the regular A10 sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
