What's the story

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy M31 in India on February 25. In the latest update, the tech giant has confirmed that the phone will be sold in the country via Samsung Online Store, Amazon, and all leading brick-and-mortar stores. Meanwhile, a previous leak has already revealed the key specifications of the handset including 64MP quad camera and a humongous 6,000mAh battery.

The handset will offer a full-HD+ AMOLED screen

According to the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy M31 will feature a similar Infinity U-styled notch design that we saw on the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M30s models. On the rear, the phone would house a rectangular module to accommodate quad cameras, and a physical fingerprint reader. Further, it is likely to offer a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution.

Notably, reputed tipster Ishan Agarwal and Pricebaba have revealed the key details of the Galaxy M31, claiming the presence of a 64MP quad-camera as well as a 32MP selfie snapper. The main sensor would be accompanied by an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor and a couple of 5MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 is tipped to pack an Exynos 9611 octa-core processor and a massive 6,000mAh battery. As for memory options, the handset would be offered with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage. Further, the phone will get all the standard connectivity options and will run Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out-of-the-box.

There is no official word on the pricing of the Galaxy M31 yet. However, looking at the leaked specifications, it could cost somewhere around Rs. 15,000. Once launched, it will take on the likes of POCO X2 and Realme X2.
