#LeakPeek: Samsung Galaxy M30s to offer a humungous 6,000mAh battery
As an upgrade to its mid-ranger Galaxy M30, Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy M30s in India on September 18. In the latest development, an Amazon page of the upcoming phone has gone live, revealing its launch date, design, and battery capacity. Separately, a couple of leaks have revealed other key details such as camera specifications and internal hardware of the phone.
Samsung Galaxy M30s: At a glance
According to Amazon's page, the Galaxy M30s will feature an Infinity-U display with a slim bezel at the bottom, just like the standard M30. On the rear, the polycarbonate panel with matte finish will house triple cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor. Further, reputed tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed that the handset will sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080*2400 pixels) resolution.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
Agarwal also revealed that the Galaxy M30s will sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, the handset will offer a 24MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
Meanwhile, in a conversation with 91Mobiles, Asim Warsi, Samsung India's Vice President, has revealed that the Galaxy M30s will be powered by an Exynos 9611 octa-core processor. As for memory options, it is tipped to offer upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB storage. Further, the Amazon page confirms that the handset will pack a beefy 6,000mAh battery, the biggest battery on any Samsung phone.
And, what about pricing?
As for the pocket pinch, Warsi revealed that the Galaxy M30s will be priced at around Rs. 15,000-20,000 in the country. However, exact details will be announced during the launch event which is scheduled for September 18.
