Samsung Galaxy M30's specifications leaked, expected to launch soon
Days after Samsung launched its India-focused Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, the specifications of a more premium model, Galaxy M30 have surfaced on the internet. As per the leak, the upcoming phone will retain the design of Galaxy M20 but will come with an improved front camera, triple rear cameras, and upgraded internals. Here's our roundup.
Samsung Galaxy M30 will feature Infinity-V
As per a leaked schematic layout of the Galaxy M30, the phone will come with an Infinity-V display design and triple rear cameras. Notably, while the layout shows a USB Type-C port and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the 3.5mm headphone jack is not listed. Moreover, the Galaxy M30 will feature a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with 2220 x 1080 pixels.
Galaxy M30 will come with triple rear cameras
As per the leaks, the Galaxy M30 will sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/1.9) main sensor, paired with a 5MP (f/2.2 ) wide-angle camera and another 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, the phone will come with a 16MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.
Under the hood
The Galaxy M30 will be powered by an Exynos 7904 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The leak also claims that the phone will run Android Pie-based One UI and pack a 5,000mAh battery. Further, it will support 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and other standard connectivity options and sensors.
Pricing and availability
As per reports, Samsung is likely to launch Galaxy M30 sometime before the end of Q1 2019. Further, looking at the aggressive pricing of Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20, the phone could launch in India at around Rs. 15,000.
