Samsung Galaxy M13 series launched in India: Check price, specifications
Samsung has launched the Galaxy M13 series in India. The range includes M13 5G and M13 models. Both the handsets share a similar design language but differ ever so slightly in terms of hardware. The M13 5G gets a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and starts at Rs. 13,999. The non-5G model has an Exynos 850 chipset and it starts at Rs. 11,999.

Samsung enjoys the second largest market share in India where it continues to face fierce competition from rivals such as Xiaomi, Vivo, and Realme - particularly in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment. As a result, the South Korean tech behemoth continues to flood the market with its entry-level and mid-range smartphones. The new Galaxy M13 series is aimed at buyers looking for an affordable handset.
The 4G model offers a 6.6-inch display
Both the M13 5G and M13 feature a waterdrop notch design, slim bezels, plastic body, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The 5G model boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The 4G variant gets a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) LCD screen, with 480-nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The devices feature a 50MP main camera
The Galaxy M13 5G includes a 50MP (f/1.8) main sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. The 4G sibling has a similar setup but with an additional 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide snapper. Up front, the devices sport a 5MP (f/2.2) and 8MP (f/2.2) camera, respectively.
The 5G version is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC
The Galaxy M13 5G draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, whereas the 4G model is fueled by an Exynos 850 chipset. The devices come in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB configurations. The handsets boot One UI Core 4 based on Android 12. The 5G model houses a 5,000mAh battery, while the 4G one has a 6,000mAh battery. Both support 15W charging via Type-C port.

The Galaxy M13 5G is priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 15,999 for its 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB models, respectively. The Galaxy M13 4G costs Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 13,999 for its 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants, respectively. The handsets are offered in Stardust Brown, Midnight Blue, and Aqua Green shades. They can be purchased via Amazon and Samsung.com from July 23 onward.
