Samsung to launch India-focused Galaxy M-series smartphones by January-end

In a bid to take on Chinese rivals, Samsung is working to launch three smartphones under its all-new budget-range Galaxy M-series.
Aimed at Indian millennial consumers, the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30 are expected to feature new Infinity-V displays and pack bigger batteries.
These phones, set to make a global debut in India by January-end, will be online exclusive models.

Galaxy M-series will be online exclusive, pricing details confirmed
Citing Asim Warsi, the head of Samsung India (mobile), Reuters reported that the company plans to sell these three Galaxy M-series smartphones only "through its website and Amazon.com's India operation".
As for pricing, Warsi said these India-made phones will available at a starting price of "less than Rs. 10,000 and go up to Rs. 20,000".

According to a US FCC listing, the Galaxy M10 will come with a 6.02-inch Infinity-V display, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP selfie camera.
It will be powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset, paired with 3GB RAM, and 16GB/32GB of internal storage (expandable upto 64GB).
Further, the phone is said to pack a 3,400mAh battery and run Android Oreo.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy M20 has also been spotted on the US FCC.
The phone is rumored to sport a 6.13-inch Infinity-V display size with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels.
Recently, the phone was spotted on Geekbench with an Exynos 7885 chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage and Andriod Oreo.
Moreover, rumors suggest Galaxy M20 will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support Bluetooth v5.0.

Galaxy M30 is said to come with an Infinity-U display
Separately, Galaxy M30 smartphone is tipped to come with a taller 6.38-inch (1080x2220 pixels) Infinity-U display, a 13MP+5MP+5MP triple rear camera setup, and a 16MP front camera.
Interestingly, the M30 was also spotted on Geekbench with an Exynos 7885 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage options and Android Oreo.
Lastly, the phone is rumored to pack a 5,000mAh battery.
