Galaxy J7 Duo smartphone spotted on Samsung India's website
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo smartphone has been spotted on Samsung India's official website in the form of a product listing and a user manual. This indicates that the phone might launch in India sooner than other global markets. Carrying the model number SM-J720F, the budget smartphone was initially thought to be the Galaxy J8 (2018).
Galaxy J7 Duo to have dual rear cameras
According to the user manual, the major aspect of the phone will be a dual rear camera setup. Its design layout includes a home button with a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo smartphone will support dual-SIM functionality and include a front-facing LED flash.
Galaxy J7 Duo to have Bixby Home integration
Another major aspect of the phone will be support for Bixby Home. With this, Samsung's voice-enabled digital assistant Bixby can analyze usage patterns of the phone and accordingly recommend services and information right on the home screen. This will make the Galaxy J7 Duo the second budget Samsung phone to come with Bixby Home integration after the Galaxy J7+ launched last year.
Expected specs
The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch touchscreen panel, RAM options of 3GB and 2GB, 32GB of inbuilt storage, 12MP rear camera, and 7MP front camera. It should be powered by the Exynos 7885 processor and run the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
