Samsung Galaxy F55 5G debuts in India at ₹27,000
Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy F55 5G smartphone in India. The device, originally exclusive to China under the name Galaxy C55, now sports a vegan feather finish on our shores. The new device is equipped with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display, that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,000-nits. Its price here starts at ₹26,999.
Performance and cameras
The Galaxy F55 5G operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, and runs on Android 14. It is offered in three storage configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB. The handset features a triple rear camera setup, with a high-quality front camera for selfies. The rear setup includes a primary lens of 50MP with OIS, an ultra-wide lens of 8MP, and a macro lens of 2MP.

Galaxy F55 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging. It also gets USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and IP67-rated water and dust resistance. The device comes with Knox security and four years of Android updates, in addition to five years of security updates. The smartphone is available in three variants: ₹26,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, ₹29,999 for the 8GB/256GB, and ₹32,999 for the highest variant with 12GB/256GB.
Launch offers and availability
As part of its launch offer, Samsung is providing ₹2,000 cashback on HDFC Bank payments until May 31. Buyers can also purchase a separate 45W power adapter for ₹499 or a Galaxy Fit3 smartwatch for ₹1,999 as part of these offers. The sale of the device will commence at 7:00pm today. The Samsung Galaxy F55 will be available solely on Flipkart and will be offered in two distinct colors: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.
