According to a teaser image, the F23 5G will sport a waterdrop notch design, triple rear cameras, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. Also, it will boot Android 12 out of the box.
Why does this story matter?
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G will arrive in India as the successor to the Galaxy F22 which was launched in July last year. It is touted to be the first-ever Galaxy F-series handset to get Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset as well as a 120Hz display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will take on rivals from brands such as Realme, Xiaomi, and Vivo.
It will likely have a plastic body
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G will sport a waterdrop notch design with slim bezels and a triple camera unit on the rear. The phone is rumored to offer a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate.
A single selfie camera will be available
The Galaxy F23 5G's triple rear camera system will likely include the main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a tertiary sensor for capturing depth or macro shots. However, the specifications are unclear as of now. Up front, a single selfie snapper will be available.
It will run on Android 12
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G will be backed by a Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. We expect the handset to be offered with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It will boot Android 12 and may pack a 5,000mAh battery with wired fast-charging. Connectivity options should include support for 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a Type-C port.
