Galaxy Buds+ announced in India at Rs. 12,000: Details here
Samsung has announced the pricing and availability details of the Galaxy Buds+ in India. The next-generation wireless earbuds are priced at Rs. 11,990 and can now be pre-booked via the company's official online store. To recall, the Galaxy Buds+ was launched alongside the flagship Galaxy S20 smartphones and the Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone earlier this month.
Shipments will begin from March 6
Those who pre-order the Galaxy Buds+ will receive it by next month. According to Samsung, it will start shipping the earbuds from March 6. While the Galaxy S20 series comes with a bunch of attractive pre-booking offers, the Buds+ has an EMI offer that starts at Rs. 564.41/month. As for the color options, the earphones are available in Black, Blue, and White.
And, here's recalling the Galaxy Buds+
Design-wise, the new Galaxy Buds+ is almost the same as the original Galaxy Buds. You still have the same in-ear design with swappable silicon ear tips. The charging-cum-carry case also remains unchanged. As for operating the earbuds, you have the same touch controls: tap to play/pause, double-tap to answer/end calls or move to next song, and long press to summon a voice assistant.
Internally, they now pack more punch as well as power
The Galaxy Buds+ comes with a 2-way dynamic speaker system that has a dedicated woofer for enhanced bass reproduction and a tweeter to offer clear high notes. Meanwhile, on a single charge, it now offers up to 11 hours of listening time, with the charging-cum-carry case extending that to 22 hours. You can also juice up the case using a Qi-based wireless charger.
Buds+ also offers improved call quality because of adaptive microphones
The Galaxy Buds+ also packs an adaptive 3-microphone system that is touted to offer improved call quality by blocking out surrounding sound. There is also an Ambient mode that lets you increase/decrease the ambient sound. However, the earbuds do not have active noise cancellation feature.
