Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge series' specs and renders leaked
Samsung is reportedly gearing up to unveil the Galaxy Book4 Edge series, which will feature two distinct laptops: the Galaxy Book4 Edge and the Galaxy Book4 Edge Pro. Ahead of the official debut, WinFuture has revealed renders and specifications of the upcoming laptops. The Galaxy Book4 Edge and the Galaxy Book4 Edge Pro will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes, respectively. The South Korean brand appears committed to delivering high performance in its forthcoming laptops.
Book4 Edge series to feature Snapdragon X Elite chipset
As per WinFuture, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Book4 Edge series models equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite chipset, featuring 12 performance cores. This marks a shift from the typical ARM chipsets used in laptops, which generally prioritize energy efficiency and often feature a hybrid core architecture. Interestingly, the Galaxy Book4 Edge has already appeared on Geekbench, achieving a score close to Apple's M-series chips.
Variants and specifications of the upcoming laptops
The Galaxy Book4 Edge will be available in three different variants, two of which will be powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1P-80-100, a 12-core processor, and will offer at least 16GB of RAM. The Galaxy Book4 Edge Pro, however, will only come in a 16-inch size and will get Snapdragon X Elite X1P-84-100 chipset with 16GB of RAM. It is unclear if there will be different RAM options for this model.
