Samsung Galaxy A91 with flagship internals to launch soon
South Korean tech giant Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A91 smartphone soon. According to SamMobile, the handset will go official in early 2020. The publication has also leaked some key specifications of the upcoming handset including waterdrop notched design, 48MP triple cameras, 45W fast-charging technology, and top-tier internals. How it will look like?
Going by the leak, the Galaxy A91 will come with an Infinity U-styled notch design as seen on the Galaxy A90 5G. On the rear, the handset will house triple cameras and an LED flash. The phone will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display fingerprint reader for secure unlocking.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In the imaging department, the Galaxy A91 will house triple rear cameras including a 48MP (f/2.0) main sensor, 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. For selfies, it will sport a 32MP (f/2.2) front-facing snapper.
What about internals?
According to the leak, the Galaxy A91 will pack Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, the phone will house a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast-charging technology. However, it is still unclear if the 45W charger will come bundled with the box or the buyers will have to purchase it separately.
Connectivity options and operating system
The Galaxy A91 will offer all the latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and headphone jack. However, unlike the Galaxy A90 5G, this phone will not support 5G connectivity. The phone will reportedly run on Android 10-based OS. Meanwhile, the India-specific variant, which may arrive before 2020, would come with Android Pie-based One UI.
Finally, what will be the price?
There is no word on the pricing of Samsung Galaxy A91 yet. However, going by the specs, it is likely to cost somewhere around Rs. 50,000. But, the official details regarding pricing and availability will be revealed by the company later.
