Here's a first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90
As the latest addition to its revamped Galaxy A series, Samsung is working to launch the Galaxy A90 on April 10. So far, we've seen some interesting details about the phone but no credible renders or image leaks. And now, thanks to tipster Waqar Khan, we have our first look at A90's design and its one-of-a-kind sliding and rotating camera system. Here's our roundup.
Samsung Galaxy A90 could debut the New Infinity display design
As seen in the introduction video, the Galaxy A90 will feature an all-screen design with no notches and holes that are required to house the selfie snapper. Instead, Samsung has achieved this uninterrupted design, which could be the New Infinity display, by adopting a novel rotatable slider camera. Further, the phone is likely to sport a 6.41-inch AMOLED display and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Technically, Galaxy A90 won't come with a selfie camera
Samsung Galaxy A90's camera module is indeed unique, considering how the rear camera will serve as a selfie snapper. As we understand from the video, the rear camera will be a motorized rotating unit contained within a motorized slider. So, every time you trigger the selfie camera, the slider will rise up and the camera unit will automatically flip 180-degrees to capture selfies.
Galaxy A90 tipped to sport a 48MP triple camera unit
There's an evident megapixel war in the smartphone space and Samsung is very much in it. According to reputed leaker @IceUniverse, the Galaxy A90 will sport a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a Time-of-Flight camera. Moreover, considering this setup will also be responsible for taking selfies, we can expect some stunning Portrait photography from the A90.

According to previous leaks and reports, the Galaxy A90 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and Android Pie-based One UI. Moreover, like the recently launched Galaxy A70, we can expect the phone to house a bigger battery (perhaps, 4,500mAh) and support 25W fast charging.
