Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, featuring 48MP camera, announced
After a couple of leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally announced the arrival of Galaxy A90 5G handset. The mid-range smartphone, as part of Galaxy A series, comes with flagship grade Snapdragon 855 chipset, Super AMOLED display, and in-screen fingerprint scanner. The company has revealed the official specifications of the phone through a blog post. However, its pricing will be announced on September 4.

The Galaxy A90 5G comes with a premium all-glass body. Up front, it sports an Infinity-U styled notch design with a slim bottom bezel. On the rear, it houses vertically stacked triple cameras and an LED flash. Further, the handset features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution.

The Galaxy A90 5G houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor with 123-degree field-of-view, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, it sports a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter housed in the notch.

The Galaxy A90 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android Pie-based One UI and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. Interestingly, the Galaxy A90 5G also supports DeX mode wherein you can get a desktop-like experience by connecting the phone to a bigger display.

Samsung has not revealed the pricing of Galaxy A90 5G as of now. However, it has confirmed that the handset will go on sale in South Korea starting September 4.
