Galaxy A7: Samsung's first triple-camera smartphone to launch tomorrow
The recently unveiled all-new Galaxy A7 - Samsung's first-ever smartphone with a triple rear-camera setup - will launch in India tomorrow. The key features of the phone, apart from the unique rear-camera, are its full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 24-megapixel selfie camera. Up front, the phone has a traditional rectangular display with ultra-small side skirting and slimmer top and bottom bezels. On the back, there's a clean-looking glass chassis which houses the triple camera setup. Notably, the fingerprint sensor is now mounted on the right side of the frame. The Galaxy A7 features a 6.0-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2220p) Super AMOLED Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

On the rear, the Galaxy A7's triple camera setup comprises a 24MP (f/1.7) autofocus sensor in the middle, paired with a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor on the top, and an ultra-wide 8MP (f/2.4) sensor with a 120-degree field-of-view at the bottom. Up front, the phone packs a 24MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper with adjustable LED flash, Selfie Focus, AR Emoji, and Pro Lighting Mode.

The Galaxy A7 is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 512GB). Further, the phone supports dual-SIMs and runs Android 8.0-based Samsung Experience UX. Under the hood, the Galaxy A7 packs a 3,300mAh battery and features Bixby, Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and Dolby Atmos (supported on headphones only).

In terms of connectivity options, the Galaxy A7 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, ANT+, USB Type-B, NFC (region-wise), GPS and GLONASS. Sensors onboard the phone include an Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and RGB Light Sensor.
