Samsung Galaxy A52, A72 to be unveiled on March 17
Samsung is all set to launch its Galaxy A52 and A72 models at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked 2021 event on March 17 at 8:30 pm in India. Both the handsets are expected to come in 4G and 5G variants, featuring Super AMOLED screens, a mid-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, and quad rear cameras. Here's our roundup.
The handsets will sport a Full-HD+ display
Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 will feature a punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, they will offer a quad camera module. The Galaxy A52 and A72 will bear a 6.5-inch and 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, respectively, with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. They will also offer an IP67-rated water resistance.
Galaxy A72 will support 30x Space Zoom
Samsung Galaxy A52 will pack a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro shooter. The Galaxy A72 will offer a similar camera arrangement but with an 8MP telephoto lens instead of the depth sensor. It will support 3x optical zoom and 30x Space Zoom. Up front, the duo will sport a 32MP selfie snapper.
They will boot Android 11-based One UI 3.1
Samsung Galaxy A52 and A72 will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset, whereas their 5G variants will be backed by a Snapdragon 750G processor. They will come with up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and 25W fast-charging support. Under the hood, the Galaxy A52 will pack a 4,500mAh battery while the Galaxy A72 will house a 5,000mAh battery.

While the official pricing details will be announced on March 17, the Galaxy A52 is likely to carry a starting price-tag of around Rs. 25,000 for the 8GB/128GB model and the Galaxy A72 should start at around Rs. 30,000 for the 8GB/128GB variant.
