Samsung Galaxy A50s to launch in India on September 11
Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy A50s smartphone in India. Going by the fresh teasers and a recently-announced contest, we expect the company to launch the A50s on September 11. Notably, the handset arrives as an upgrade to the existing Galaxy A50, with improved cameras and internals. Here's our roundup.

Up front, the Samsung Galaxy A50s would feature an Infinity-U styled notch design with a slim bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the polycarbonate panel with geometric patterns would house triple cameras and LED flash. Further, the handset is expected to sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A50s will house a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP (f/2.2) sensor for depth effect. Up front, it will sport a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter. Further, the rear camera will support 4K video recording at 30fps, while the selfie camera will record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
Powering the Galaxy A50s is an unnamed octa-core processor, presumably Exynos 9610. It would be paired with upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB storage. Under the hood, it would run on Android Pie-based One UI and pack a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. Furthermore, it would get all latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C port, and headphone jack.

As for the pocket pinch, the Galaxy A50s is expected to cost somewhere around Rs. 20,000 in India. However, official details will be announced during the launch event on September 11.
