Samsung Galaxy A50 to feature Infinity-U display, key specifications leaked
Thanks to a stream of leaks, we know that Samsung is working to launch Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 in India soon. In the latest development, DroidShout (via tipster Ishan Agarwal), has given us an early look at the Galaxy A50 while reiterating some of the previously known features and specifications of the upcoming phone. Galaxy A50 to feature Infinity-U display
As per the images sourced from Samsung Galaxy A50's user manual, the phone will feature an Infinity-U display with a slim bottom chin, triple rear cameras, in-screen fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, NFC support, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Further, according to an earlier leak, Galaxy A50 will feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Galaxy A50 will sport triple rear cameras
According to leaks, Galaxy A50 will sport a triple rear camera setup featuring a 25MP (f/1.7) main sensor, paired with a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor, and an 8MP (f/2.4) fixed-focus ultra-wide sensor. Up front, it will sport a 25MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.
Galaxy A50: Under the hood
The Galaxy A50 will be powered by an Exynos 9610 chipset, paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, the phone will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery which will support 15W fast charging. Lastly, the Galaxy A50 will run Android Pie-based One UI out-of-the-box.
Pricing and availability
According to an earlier report, Samsung will launch "one smartphone from the Galaxy A series every month beginning in March, through June." Moreover, like the all-new M-series, the next-gen A-series is targeted at millennials and will be priced between Rs. 10,000-50,000. Samsung is bullish on the upcoming models and expects sales in the range of $4 billion in 2019 from Galaxy A-series itself.
