Jio launches in-app digital assistant: Here's how to use it
Reliance Jio has launched an in-app digital assistant that is aimed at simplifying digital recharges. Dubbed as Jio Saarthi, the assistant is integrated within the MyJio app to guide new subscribers on how to successfully do a digital recharge. Notably, the feature is only available for those users who have never recharged their accounts using the MyJio app before. Here's all about it.
Key features of Jio's Saarthi assistant
Jio Saarthi provides step-by-step voice directions to make a successful recharge through MyJio app. It starts with helping you choose a recharge option to locating payment details and finally using your credit/debit cards for completing the recharge. The assistant is currently available in English and Hindi. However, Jio is planning to add support for 12 regional languages in the coming days.
How to use Jio Saarthi?
To get started, you will require the latest MyJio app on your smartphone. When you open the app and tap on the Recharge button, you will see Jio Saarthi assistant in the form of a floating icon. Now, you will simply have to tap on the icon to start receiving voice-based directions for making a recharge.
Jio Saarthi is available for new users only
As mentioned before, you will see the Jio Saarthi assistant only if you are a new user. In case you have already done a digital recharge using the app, you will not see the in-app assistant.
