Redmi Smart Band Pro, Smart TV X43 launched in India
Alongside the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S smartphones, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Smart Band Pro and Smart TV X43 in India. The wearable is priced at Rs. 3,499, whereas the TV carries a price-tag of Rs. 28,999. They will be available for purchase via Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon India, and retail outlets.
Why does this story matter?
Redmi Smart Band Pro was first launched in China last November. The successor to the Smart Band is another example of Xiaomi's strategy of launching low-cost fitness trackers with good hardware and several health features. The Smart TV X43 is the latest addition to the X series. It will attract buyers looking for a 4K TV under Rs. 30,000 price-point.
The fitness band has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display
Redmi Smart Band Pro sports a black-colored body with a rectangular 1.47-inch (194x368 pixels) AMOLED touchscreen with a 283ppi pixel density and 450-nits of peak brightness. The band is powered by an Ambiq Apollo 3.5 chipset, paired with 8MB of RAM, 128MB of onboard storage, and has a battery life of up to 14 days. It offers 5ATM water resistance and always-on display function.
It features over 110 workout modes
The Redmi Smart Band Pro comes with over 110 workout modes, including 3 auto-detected modes. It also offers features such as stress and sleep monitoring, breathing exercises, menstrual cycle tracking, SpO2 tracking, and heart rate monitoring.
The TV has HDR10+ support
The Redmi Smart TV X43 features an all-metal design with a rectangular screen and slim bezels. It bears a 43-inch 4K (3840x2160 pixels) display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. It sports 30W speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual-X. The TV is powered by a MediaTek A55 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and runs on PatchWall 4 UI.
It has three HDMI ports
The Redmi Smart TV X43 has three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, an AV input, an Ethernet port, an optical port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For wireless connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The Redmi Smart Band Pro is available for an introductory price of Rs. 3,499, while the Smart TV X43 carries a price-tag of Rs. 28,999. The wearable will be up for grabs from February 14, whereas the TV will go on sale from February 16 onward. They can be purchased via Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon India, and partner retail outlets.
