Further, the phone is expected to be priced under Rs. 10,000.
Here's our roundup.
Design and display
Here's more about Redmi Note 7
Up front, the Redmi Note 7 sports an edge-to-edge display with a waterdrop notch on the top and a sizeable bottom bezel.
On the back, it has a glass-like chassis with gradient design, dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner.
Further, the phone features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ notched display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The phone packs a lot of pixels for the pennies
The Redmi Note 7 comes with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 48MP Samsung sensor with f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 5MP depth sensor and LED flash.
Up front, the phone offers a 13MP selfie camera.
Moreover, we expect both the cameras to offer several AI-based features such as smart HDR and Portrait mode.
Internals
Under the hood
The Redmi Note 7 is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
The phone runs Android Oreo-based MIUI 9 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support.
Further, it supports all the standard sensors and connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, headphone jack, dual-SIMs, and 4G VoLTE.
Bang for bucks
Expected India pricing of Redmi Note 7
In China, the Redmi Note 7 costs CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 10,300) for the 3GB/32GB model and CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs. 14,500) for the 6GB/64GB variant.
Hence, in India, we can expect the phone to launch around Rs. 10,000 or possibly under Rs. 10,000 - an aggressive price point that will help Xiaomi take on its competitors.
