Redmi Note 7 Pro might soon get Fortnite support
Xiaomi has announced that it is working with Qualcomm and Epic Games to bring Fortnite support on its Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone. Redmi Note 7 Pro currently supports PUBG but not Fortnite because its chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675, is yet to be certified by Epic Games. This comes days after rival Realme teased Fortnite support on its upcoming Realme 3 Pro.
Xiaomi says Epic Games is yet to certify Snapdragon 675
Xiaomi claims that the Snapdragon 675 chipset is relatively new and is yet to be certified by Epic Games - the maker of Fortnite mobile game. Meanwhile, Epic Games says that its game is supported on all Android phones that come with Andreno 530 GPU or higher. Hence, considering 675 processor packs an Adreno 612 GPU, we expect the certification to come through soon.
