    What's the story

    The much-awaited 6GB RAM/128GB storage model of Redmi Note 7 Pro will be up for grabs for the first time in India tomorrow.

    This variant, priced at Rs. 16,999, will be available via Flipkart and Mi.com starting 12 pm (IST).

    Notably, in terms of design and other parameters, the 6GB RAM model is identical to the 4GB RAM model.

    Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with all-glass body, gradient finish

    The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a "Dot notch" display, sizeable bottom bezel, dual rear cameras, glass chassis, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the in-trend gradient design

    In terms of display, the phone offers a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) screen with superior Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides.

    The smartphones supports 48MP dual rear camera

    Redmi Note 7 Pro sports a dual rear-camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.79) Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. Up front, it has a 13MP selfie camera.

    And though more megapixels don't necessarily mean better photos, the 48MP (0.8-micron pixels) sensors offer impressive lossless digital zoom by preserving more details. Therefore, you get praise-worthy 12MP (1.6-micron pixels) images.

    The Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a micro-SD card.

    Further, it comes with a 4,000mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4 standard (18W fast charging) and runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10.

    The Redmi Note 7 Pro offers all the latest connectivity options such as dual 4G with dual LTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz+5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

    The phone also offers all standard sensors such as a gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor, e-compass, IR blaster and the good-old rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

    Pricing and availability

    Redmi Note 7 Pro costs Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant.

    The 128GB storage model will go on sale at 12 pm (IST) tomorrow via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.

    The company has also announced that the smartphone would be available for purchase via Mi Home starting April 17.
