Redmi Note7 Pro leaked, price to start around Rs. 16,000
As an upgraded variant of its recently announced camera-centric Redmi Note 7, Xiaomi is working to launch Redmi Note 7 Pro in China in February. Last week, the company had confirmed that the phone will feature a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. And now, a leak claims that Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 675 chipset. Here's everything we know so far.
Pro model to retain design of Redmi Note 7
According to the teaser shared by Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will retain the design of Redmi Note 7 to feature a waterdrop notched screen, gradient design, dual rear-camera setup, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Further, we can also expect the Pro model to get Note 7's 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Redmi Note 7 Pro will feature 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor
As per the official teaser, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will feature a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor and another sensor for capturing depth information. In comparison, the regular Redmi Note 7 sports a 48MP (f/1.7) Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, paired with a 5MP secondary sensor.
Leak suggests Pro variant will get Snapdragon 675 chipset
According to the leak, the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset - an upgrade from the Snapdragon 660 processor on Redmi Note 7. Moreover, like the regular model, the Pro variant may come with upto 6GB RAM, upto 64GB storage, Android Oreo-based MIUI 9 and a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor was launched in October 2018 as an upgrade to the popular mid-range Snapdragon 660 chipset. This new processor, based on 11nm LPP process technology, features an octa-core Kryo 675 CPU and Adreno 612 GPU. Moreover, it supports Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4+ technology, 4K video recording at 30fps with Motion-Compensated Temporal Filtering (video compression codec) and 720p video recording at 480fps.

According to a Chinese tipster, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will come at a starting price of CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 15,800). In comparison, the Redmi Note 7 was launched at a starting price of CNY 999 (approx Rs. 10,500) for the 3GB/32GB model.
