#LeakPeek: Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro to sport four cameras
As the latest addition to its budget smartphones, Xiaomi is working to launch the Redmi Note 6 Pro. In the latest development, a couple of live images and a hands-on video of an alleged Redmi Note 6 Pro have leaked the phone in full glory. The phone is tipped to sport four cameras, 4,000mAh battery and a 6.26-inch full-HD+ notched display. Here's our roundup.
Redmi Note 6 Pro: At a glance
The leaks suggest Redmi Note 6 Pro will sport a notched display with a prominent bottom bezel. Notably, the notch will house dual front-cameras and other sensors. On the back, the phone resembles the Redmi Note 5 Pro with a vertically-stacked dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. Redmi Note 6 Pro will sport a 6.26-inch full-HD+ (2280×1080p) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Redmi Note 6 Pro will pack four cameras
According to the leaked images and hands-on video, Redmi Note 6 Pro will sport four cameras in total. The rear camera setup will incorporate a 12MP primary sensor with 1.4μm pixels, dual-pixel autofocus, paired with a 5MP depth-sensing sensor and an LED flash module. Up front, the phone will have a 20MP+2MP camera setup with the secondary sensor offering support for depth-sensing.
Under the hood
Interestingly, the leaks indicate that Redmi Note 6 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor - the same chipset that powers the Redmi Note 5 Pro. The phone will have 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB storage of internal storage which should be expandable. Further, Redmi Note 6 Pro will pack a 4,000mAh battery and run Android Oreo-based MIUI 10 out-of-the-box.
Pricing and launch
The Redmi Note 6 Pro will reportedly be priced at around EUR 200-250 in the European markets. However, in India, we can expect a cheaper variant starting at around Rs. 15,000 and go up to Rs. 17,000 for the 6GB variant. Notably, while we do not have a launch date yet, these quality leaks suggest that the phone is coming soon.
