Redmi Note 11 series introduced in India at Rs. 13,500
Xiaomi has launched its much-anticipated Redmi Note 11 series in India. The line-up includes the Note 11 and Note 11S models. The handsets were introduced globally in January. The range starts at Rs. 13,499 for the base 4GB/64GB variant of the Note 11. The smartphones offer a 90Hz AMOLED display, a quad rear camera unit, 33W fast charging support, and an IP53-rated build quality.

Known for its high money-to-performance ratio, the Redmi Note series has always been a crowd-puller. Ever since Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S globally, Indians have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on them. With a modern design, mid-tier hardware, and the latest MIUI 13 software, the new models in the series are expected to attract buyers in India.
The handsets sport a 90Hz display
The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S sport a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, an IP53-rated build quality, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The handsets offer a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. They are offered in Space Black, Horizon Blue, and Polar White color options.
They have a quad camera unit on the back
The Redmi Note 11 features a quad rear camera arrangement with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro snapper. The Note 11S has a similar setup but with a 108MP (f/1.9) main shooter. Up front, they sport a 13MP (f/2.4) and 16MP (f/2.4) selfie snapper, respectively.
They house a 5,000mAh battery
The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S are fueled by a Snapdragon 680 and MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, respectively, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, they boot Android 11-based MIUI 13 and pack a 5,000mAh battery 33W fast-charging support. The handsets offer support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and a Type-C port.
Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S: Pricing and availability
The Redmi Note 11 starts at Rs. 13,499 for the base 4GB/64GB variant, while the Note 11S starts at Rs. 16,499 for the base 6GB/64GB model. The former will go on sale from February 11, whereas the latter will be up for grabs from February 21. They will be available for purchase via Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon, and other partner retail outlets.
