Redmi Note 10 series to be announced on March 4
Redmi Note 10 series, which is expected to go official in India on March 10, will be announced globally on March 4, the company has confirmed. The line-up includes Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro models, and they will be offered in both 4G and 5G variants. The handsets will feature a mid-tier chipset, high refresh rate screens, and quad rear cameras.
Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro: Design and display
The Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro will have a punch-hole cut-out display with a slim bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, the duo will house a quad camera unit. The handsets will sport 6.57-inch and 6.67-inch IPS LCD screens, respectively, with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Redmi Note 10 series will offer a quad camera setup
The Redmi Note 10 will sport a quad rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP micro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Pro model will pack a similar arrangement, but with a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth camera. Up front, the devices will offer a 16MP and 32MP selfie snapper, respectively.
Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro will boot MIUI 12.5
Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro's 4G variants will be fueled by a Snapdragon 732G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Both the smartphones will run on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 and are tipped to pack a 5,050mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. For connectivity, they should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro: Price and availability
The Redmi Note 10 series will make its global debut on March 4. However, the pricing and availability details of the handsets in India may be revealed on March 10. We expect the line-up to start at around Rs. 15,000.
