Redmi Note 10 Pro, Pro Max receive MIUI 12.0.6 update
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max smartphones, which just went on sale in India, are now receiving their first software update. The Chinese tech giant has pushed a new MIUI 12.0.6 build for its latest mid-rangers, improving the Camera app's performance as well as enhancing the overall app stability. Here are more details.

The update carries version number MIUI v12.0.6.0.RKFINXM and has a download size of 278MB. It is being rolled out in a staged manner via over-the-air method. You can manually check for the firmware by going to Settings > About phone.
The handsets sport a 120Hz AMOLED screen
As far as their specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max feature a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, they pack a quad camera unit. The handsets bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz refresh rate. They are offered in three color options.
The Pro Max model has a 108MP main camera
The Redmi Note 10 Pro houses a quad rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth shooter. The Pro Max model packs a similar camera arrangement, but with a 108MP main sensor. On the front, the duo has a 16MP selfie snapper.
They are backed by a Snapdragon 732G chipset
Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max draw power from a Snapdragon 732G chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. They run on Android 11-based MIUI 12 and pack a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the devices offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro starts at Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB/64GB model and goes up to Rs. 18,999 for the 8GB/128GB version. The Max Pro variant starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB/64GB version and goes up to Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB/128GB configuration.
