This is how Redmi K50 Pro will look like
Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition last week. Now, the renders of another Redmi K50 series handset, the K50 Pro, have surfaced online courtesy of @OnLeaks and Zoutons AE. The renders, along with a 360-degree video, showcase the handset in its full glory. The Zoutons AE report also revealed the dimensions of the phone. It is expected to make its debut in mid-2022.

The Redmi K series has always been a crowd-puller, offering premium features at a great value. With the regular release of new models, Xiaomi has kept the series recent and relevant. And, the new K50 series is no different. With the K50 Gaming Edition already in the pocket, the company has now set its sights on launching the rest of the K50 series.
The handset will have punch-hole design
The Redmi K50 Pro will feature a punch-hole cut-out on the top-center, slim bezels, rounded corners, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a vertical camera unit. The handset may bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz refresh rate. Dimensions-wise, it will measure 8.7mm in thickness.
It will boast a 64MP main camera
The Redmi K50 Pro will be equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, comprising a 64MP main shooter and two unspecified sensors. Up front, the handset will have a single selfie snapper.
A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip will fuel the device
The Redmi K50 Pro is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. At the heart, it will boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 and house a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast-charging support. It should offer support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a Type-C port.
Redmi K50 Pro: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the Redmi K50 Pro will be announced at the time of its launch. However, we expect it to start at around Rs. 45,000.
