Redmi K30 Pro feature roundup: Leaks, rumors, and expectations
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi K30 Pro in China on March 24. The Chinese tech giant would be hosting a live-stream event from the official Redmi account on Weibo. But before an official announcement, key details about the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online, confirming an all-screen design, a 64MP quad-camera, a pop-up selfie snapper, and flagship internal hardware. Here's more.
How will it look like?
The Redmi K30 Pro will sport an edge-to-edge screen with no notches, thanks to the pop-up camera design. Going by the teasers, the handset will offer an AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and 180Hz touch sampling rate. However, the screen refresh rate is said to be 60Hz. Besides that, the phone is touted to pack the largest vapor chamber liquid cooling in a smartphone.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The primary camera setup on the Redmi K30 Pro would comprise a 64MP (f/1.9) main sensor, paired with another 64MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. This camera module would support 8K video recording at 30fps, 3x optical zoom, and up to 30x of digital zoom. For selfies, the handset will house a front-facing motorized pop-up camera.
What about internal hardware?
The Redmi K30 Pro will pack a Snapdragon 865 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Under the hood, it would run on Android 10-based MIUI 11 and will pack a long-lasting battery. Furthermore, it will come with the latest connectivity options like dual-mode 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
Finally, what will be the pricing?
Xiaomi will reveal the official pricing details of the Redmi K30 Pro at its launch event itself, which will happen on March 24. However, citing a Chinese e-commerce listing, Gadgets360 has hinted that the phone would be priced around CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 35,200).
