Xiaomi's flagship Redmi K30 Pro sold out in 30 seconds
Xiaomi's Redmi K30 Pro has received a tremendous response in China. The handset, which went on its first flash sale today, was sold out in just 30 seconds. The Chinese tech giant has claimed it has generated a revenue of $14 million (approximately Rs. 1 billion) in that particular time slot. The K30 Pro is likely to arrive in India as the POCO F2.
Over 25,000 units of the phone were sold, suggests report
According to a report by GSMArena, Xiaomi has sold more than 25,000 units of the Redmi K30 Pro, including the Zoom Edition, in the first sale. As for the pocket-pinch, the line-up starts at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for the standard model with 6GB/128GB configuration and goes up to CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 42,000) for the K30 Pro Zoom Edition with 8GB/256GB configuration.

Both Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition feature an edge-to-edge screen with no notches and bezels. On the rear, the circular module on the glass panel accommodates quad cameras. These phones sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution, HDR10+ support, and an in-display fingerprint reader for secure biometric authentication.
Both phones offer 64MP quad cameras
The Redmi K30 Pro houses a quad-camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor with OIS support, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5MP macro camera, and another 2MP depth sensor. The K30 Pro Zoom Edition also gets a similar setup but with an 8MP telephoto lens instead of a 5MP macro camera. Up front, both the handsets house a 20MP motorized pop-up selfie camera.

The Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition draw power from a Snapdragon 865 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. They run on Android 10-based MIUI 11 and pack a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. The standard connectivity options on these phones include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G support, Type-C port, and headphone jack.
