Redmi K30 Pro: The most-affordable Snapdragon 865-toting handset?
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi K30 Pro in China on March 24. So far, several leaks have hinted that the handset will offer a pop-up selfie camera, flagship internals, and is likely to be launched in India as POCO F2. Now, tipster Ishan Agarwal has claimed that it will arrive as the cheapest Snapdragon 865-toting phone in the country.
The handset will offer a notch-less and bezel-less screen
As per the leaks, the Redmi K30 Pro will offer an edge-to-edge screen with no notches and bezels, achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera- similar to the Redmi K20 Pro. The handset is likely to offer a high-resolution AMOLED display with an impressive (presumably 120Hz) refresh rate. Furthermore, it will house an in-display fingerprint reader for secure biometric authentication.
Plus, there will be a 64MP quad camera for shutterbugs
The Redmi K30 Pro will house a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor. However, the details of the other lenses are not known as of now. Up front, it will offer a motorized pop-up camera for selfies, video calling, and face unlock.
Under the hood
The Redmi K30 will draw power from a 5G-ready Snapdragon 865 chipset. Further, it may offer up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Under the hood, it will pack a solid 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. Furthermore, the phone will support all the standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
And, how much will it cost?
There is no official word on the pricing of the Redmi K30 Pro as of now. But, going by the tweet, we expect the handset to arrive at an extremely competitive price in India. It is likely to cost somewhere around Rs. 30,000 and take on the likes of Realme X50 Pro 5G and iQoo 3 5G.
