Xiaomi Redmi 8A now available via open sale in India
Xiaomi's budget-friendly Redmi 8A, which was so far available via flash sales only, can now be purchased anytime in India. The budget-friendly handset has gone on open sale and is up for grabs via Flipkart, Mi.com, as well as Mi Home Stores. As for the pricing, the Redmi 8A costs Rs. 6,499 for the 2GB/32GB variant and Rs. 6,999 for the 3GB/32GB model. Further, buyers can avail 5% discount on payments using Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, 10% discount using Axis Bank Buzz credit card, and upto Rs. 6,950 off as part of the smartphone exchange offer.

As far as its specifications are concerned, the Redmi 8A sports a waterdrop notched design with a noticeable bottom bezel. On the rear, the polycarbonate panel houses a single camera and LED flash. It offers a 6.22-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1520 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Moreover, it is available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Red color options.
