Xiaomi releases MIUI 10 for Redmi 6 Pro in India
Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable MIUI 10 Global ROM update for its recently launched Redmi 6 Pro in India. Several users have reported about it on Mi India Forums and social media. The update brings along an all-new fullscreen UI, Portrait mode for the front camera, and other features. Here's everything to know about it.

About the update
The Android Oreo-based MIUI 10 Stable update has a file size of about 600MB and build number V10.0.1.0.0DMMIFH. Notably, the update is being rolled out in a phased manner via OTA method and hence not everyone may receive it just yet.
What's new in the update?
The MIUI 10 update comes with full-screen navigation gestures and redesigned "Recents" menu which gets a new vertical cover flow of apps instead of horizontal. Moreover, with MIUI 10, you now get new system apps such as Weather and Calendar and a revamped notification panel to complement the full-screen experience. Xiaomi has also offered a software-based Portrait mode for the front camera.
How to install the update?
Xiaomi has not yet offered the download links for the update. But, you can manually check the update by going to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for updates. If the update is available for you, simply download and install.
