Redmi 10 5G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G launched globally
Xiaomi has launched two new Redmi smartphones, the 10 5G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G, globally. While the former starts at $199 (around Rs. 15,100) for the 4GB/64GB model, the latter begins at $369 (roughly Rs. 27,900) for the 6GB/128GB variant. The Redmi 10 5G is a rebranded Note 11E 5G, while the Note 11 Pro+ 5G is a rebadged 11i HyperCharge.
Why does this story matter?
Since the turn of 2022, Xiaomi has been introducing Redmi smartphones left, right, and center. Be it China, India, or global market, the sheer number of Redmi-branded handsets launched is more than a handful. This time around, the company has announced the Redmi 10 5G, which is the brand's most affordable 5G phone to date. It has launched alongside the Note 11 Pro+ 5G.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G features a 120Hz AMOLED display
Redmi 10 5G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G feature a waterdrop notch and punch-hole design, respectively, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The former bears a 90Hz, 6.58-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display, while the latter packs a 120Hz, 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen. They are offered in Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, Aurora Green, Star Blue, and Forest Green color options.
Redmi 10 5G sports a 50MP main camera
Redmi 10 5G sports a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Note 11 Pro+ flaunts a 108MP primary snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. They have a 5MP and 16MP selfie camera, respectively.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G supports 120W fast-charging
Redmi 10 5G and Note 11 Pro+ 5G are fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 and MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, respectively, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. They boot Android 11-based MIUI 13 and MIUI 12.5, respectively. The former packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging, while the latter houses a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast-charging.

The Redmi 10 5G is priced at $199 (around Rs. 15,100) for the 4GB/64GB model and $229 (roughly Rs. 17,300) for the 4GB/128GB variant. The Note 11 Pro+ 5G starts at $369 (approximately Rs. 27,900) and goes up to $449 (around Rs. 34,000).
