Realme X50 Pro 5G feature roundup: Looks like a spec-monster
Realme is set to launch a flagship X50 Pro 5G smartphone on February 24. The handset will arrive as an upgrade to the mid-range X50 5G that went official in China last month. Over the past few days, Realme has officially confirmed some of the key specs of the upcoming model, such as the Snapdragon 865 chipset, dual 5G mode, and 65W fast charging.
Realme X50 Pro 5G will sport a punch-hole design
According to leaks, the Realme X50 Pro will look quite identical to the vanilla X50. It will feature a pill-shaped punch-hole design with slim bezels on all sides. On the rear, the glass panel will get some gradient design and house a vertically stacked quad-camera module. It will also come with a Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
We know Realme X50 Pro 5G will come with a quad-lens rear camera and a dual-lens selfie snapper. However, the details of the sensors are not known as of now. For context, the regular X50 comes with a 64MP main sensor, 12MP telephoto lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it also has a 16MP+8MP dual camera setup.
Under the hood
The Realme X50 Pro will come with the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset and support dual 5G mode. For reference, the standard X50 has a Snapdragon 765G processor. As for RAM and memory, it should offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Finally, the phone is also confirmed to support 65W SuperDart Charge fast-charging technology.
The phone will be announced on February 24
Realme will announce the X50 Pro 5G on February 24 via a live stream. Moreover, the handset will not remain confined to China. According to reports, the handset will see a global release and will be sold in key markets like Europe and India.
