Realme launches India's first 5G smartphone at Rs. 38,000
As an addition to its portfolio of smartphones, Chinese tech giant Realme has launched its much-awaited X50 Pro 5G in India today. The smartphone starts at Rs. 37,999 in the country, and will go on sale starting 6pm today via Flipkart and Realme.com. Touted as India's first 5G handset, it offers a 90Hz AMOLED screen, quad rear camera, 65W fast-charging technology, and top-tier internals.
A look at the Realme X50 Pro 5G
The Realme X50 Pro 5G sports a dual punch-hole design with a slim bottom bezel. On the rear, the gradient-finished panel houses a vertically stacked quad camera setup with LED flash. The handset features a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and DC Dimming support for flicker-free experience. Moreover, it houses an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.
The smartphone offers 64MP quad camera for shutterbugs
The Realme X50 Pro 5G houses a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, coupled with a 12MP telephoto lens with 20x hybrid zoom, an 8MP lens for ultra-wide-angle and macro photography, and another 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the dual punch-hole module accommodates a 32MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens.
Under the hood
The Realme X50 Pro 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor that comes with a built-in 5G modem. As for memory options, the phone offers up to 12GB of RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The handset comes with 65W SuperDart Charge technology which is claimed to charge the 4,200mAh battery in under 35 minutes.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Realme X50 Pro 5G costs Rs. 37,999 for the entry-level 6GB/128GB variant, Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, and Rs. 44,999 for top-of-the-line variant with 12GB/256GB configuration. Further, the smartphone will go on its first sale starting 6pm today via Flipkart and Realme's official website.
