Realme X available for pre-ordering with Rs. 500 bonus credit
Realme X, which is set to arrive in India on July 15, is now available for pre-ordering in a Blind Order sale. Under the sale, which ends on July 14, you can reserve a Realme X handset for a token amount of Rs. 1,000. Further, those who pre-order the phone will also get Rs. 500 as bonus credit from the company. Here's more.

As part of the sale, Realme will add Rs. 500 when you buy the handset between July 22-26. This means you'll pay Rs. 1,000, but can redeem Rs. 1,500. The Realme X offers an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. On the rear, the gradient finished back panel sports a dual-lens camera. It features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor. And as part of Realme X Naoto Fukasawa collection, the company has introduced Onion and Garlic models as well.
What's special about the Realme X Spider-Man edition?
Realme X Spider-Man Far From Home edition model retains the design and specifications of the standard Realme X. However, as a commemorative variant, it gets a Spider-Man protective case and a pre-loaded Spider-Man theme that revamps the UI of this model.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Realme X features a dual lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.7) main camera along with a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the phone packs a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper packed in a pop-up module. The main camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps while the selfie camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Realme X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android Pie-based Color OS 6 and packs a 3,700mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 (20W) fast-charging. Lastly, it offers all standard sensors and connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port.
Realme X to launch in India at around Rs. 18,000
In China, the Realme X starts at CNY 1,499 (Rs. 15,300) for the 4GB/64GB base variant and goes upto CNY 1,799 (Rs. 18,300) for the top-end 8GB/128GB model. However, going by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth's recent tweet, the Indian version of Realme X may come with slightly different specifications, a new color variant, and could be priced at around Rs. 18,000.
