Realme X teased in India, expected to launch in early-July
What's the story
Realme has started teasing its latest mid-range smartphone, the Realme X, in India.
The handset is expected to arrive in the coming days to take on the Redmi K20 which is slated to go official in mid-July.
To recall, the Realme X was launched in China in May and comes with an all-screen design, dual rear cameras, and mid-level internals.

Design and display
Realme X: At a glance
The Realme X features an all-screen design achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. On the rear, the gradient finished back panel will house a dual-lens camera setup.
It sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Further, the Onion and Garlic edition launched under the Realme X Naoto Fukasawa collection will also arrive in India.
Camera
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Realme X features a dual-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.7) main camera along with a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.
Up front, the phone packs a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper packed in a pop-up module.
The main camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps while the selfie camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.
Internals
Under the hood
The Realme X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB of storage.
Under the hood, it runs on Android Pie-based Color OS 6 and packs a 3,700mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 (20W) fast-charging.
Lastly, it offers all standard sensors and connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port.

Realme X to launch in India at around Rs. 18,000
In China, the Realme X starts at CNY 1,499 (Rs. 15,300) for the 4GB/64GB base variant and goes upto CNY 1,799 (Rs. 18,300) for the top-end 8GB/128GB model.
However, going by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth's tweet from May 2019, the Indian variant of Realme X may have different specs, a new color variant, and could be priced at around Rs. 18,000.
