Realme Narzo 50 will be available in India via Amazon
Realme is gearing up to launch its latest budget-range handset, the Narzo 50, in India. In the latest development, a listing of the smartphone was spotted on Amazon by tipster Yogesh Brar. However, it was taken down quickly. The listing confirms that the phone will be available via Amazon. It is expected to make its debut in India in the first half of March.
Why does this story matter?
The Amazon listing of the Narzo 50 has surprised many. Traditionally, Realme smartphones have retailed via Flipkart as well as the company's official e-store. However, things are looking different this time around. Realme's partnership with Amazon can be seen as an attempt by the company to reach a wider audience and fuel its growth in the country.
The handset will be available in four color options
Realme Narzo 50 will likely have a punch-hole display with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a triple camera unit. The handset is expected to bear a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It will be offered in Gray, Green, Speed Black, and Speed Blue color options.
It will sport a 50MP main camera
The Realme Narzo 50 will be equipped with a triple rear camera unit, comprising a 50MP primary shooter and two unspecified sensors. Up front, it will have a single selfie snapper.
It will house a 4,880mAh battery
The Realme Narzo 50 is expected to be fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it will boot Android 11-based Realme UI and pack a 4,880mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. For connectivity, it should offer support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a Type-C port.
