Realme GT7 Pro to boast an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner
Realme is anticipated to launch the GT7 Pro by the end of this year. While the debut is still months away, recent leaks have revealed some of the details of the upcoming device. Leaker Smart Pikachu has claimed that the GT7 Pro will include a periscope camera, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. If this prediction holds true, it would mark the first time Realme has incorporated an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner into one of its phones.
First global Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone?
The Realme GT7 Pro is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, set to be unveiled in October. While it may not be the first phone with this chipset in the Chinese market, it could potentially be the first globally. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the GT7 Pro will feature an ultra-large battery, potentially around 6,000mAh. This is a significant increase from its predecessor, the GT5 Pro, which housed a 5,400mAh battery.
Indian debut is not expected
While the exact launch details of the device remain unconfirmed, the Realme GT7 Pro is expected to first debut in the Chinese market around December. It may launch in the global markets in 2025. The device's Indian debut is highly unlikely.
